Revels Book of Chanteys and Sea Songs
New Songbook

This is John Langstaff's final Revels opus in which he gathered a very personal collection of some of his favorite songs of the sea, representing the full range of the maritime experience, from raising the anchor in Shanghai to raising a glass of grog on the docks of Boston. Foremost in Jack's mind as he researched the songs for this book was that they should be for everyone - teachers, parents, sailors and choral directors. Musically arranged by George Emlen, and beautifully designed by Sue Ladr, this latest Revels book belongs in every home and school.
