John Langstaff Collection rev_logo.gif
John Langstaff (1920-2005) was the founder of Revels and the creator of The Christmas Revels. A classically trained musician, he was a remarkable teacher, author and concert baritone with a passion for folk music, tradition and, more than anything, making music with children. John Langstaff spent his entire life immersed in music and Revels is proud to share some of his early recordings, including the digitally remastered “John Langstaff Sings” Archival Folk Collection, some of the songbooks and folktales for children and families he helped compile over the years.
